They’re back! Despite the loss of two third of the group’s original members, Detroit’s Slum Village, return with 'Villa Manifesto' on Barak Records, July 27. 'Moe Pope - Life After God' | 06-21-2010

Boston resident Moe Pope releases his solo album 'Life After God' on July 27. Known from being part of the groups Mission (aka Crown City Rockers), Electric Company, Project Move and Megaphone, Pope returns with 15 tracks featuring Reks, Edo G, and more. The album is almost entirely produced (one beat from Headnodic) by upstart beat smith Rain. This Boston music fest is to be issued on –of course- Brick Records.
 
 
 
'Zo! - SunStorm' | 06-21-2010

Detroit-area born and DC-based producer Zo! will release his 'SunSet' record July 27 on Foreign Exchange Music. The album features lovely contributions by Phonte, Sy Smith, Darien Brockington, Lay Alma, YahZarah, Rapper Big Pooh and more… If you haven't already: download the teaser EP 'Just Visiting Too' to get into the vibe.
 
 
 
'Camu Tao - King Of Hearts' | 06-21-2010

Two years after Camu Tao sadly passed away, his ‘King Of Hearts’ will release on August 17 on Def Jux/Fat Possum Records. Produced by Tao himself, the 16-track album is described as 'raw, exciting and unlike anything anyone has heard’ by El-P. Kid Cudi confirms; 'These songs are so before their time it's ridiculous' while Cage sums up the album as 'a masterpiece in the making'.
 
 
 
'Black Milk - Album Of The Year' | 06-02-2010

Two years after ‘Tronic’, Black Milk will release his highly anticipated fourth full length, and apparently Album Of The Year on Fat Beats Records. The album of the year will contain 12 tracks with contributions from Royce da 5’ 9”, Elzhi, Danny Brown, Melanie Rutherford, Mr Porter, and more… Scheduled for a July 27-release. Atlanta-based Red Giant MC Jermiside collaborates with Irish-bred producer Danny Diggs to release ‘Middle Classic’.
